Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to workshop fees, private tuition, group bookings, materials kits and gift vouchers sold by Merrow & Vale Ltd.

1. Cooling-Off for Distance Bookings

If you book online or by phone without visiting the studio, UK consumer law may give you a 14-day cooling-off period for services not yet performed. If a workshop takes place within that period at your request, you may be charged for services supplied.

2. Student Cancellations

• 7+ days before the session: full refund or free transfer to another date (subject to availability)
• 48 hours to 7 days: transfer preferred; refund of 50% of fees paid if transfer is not possible
• Under 48 hours or no-show: fees generally non-refundable

3. Studio Cancellations

If we cancel due to tutor illness, low enrolment or unforeseen studio issues, you will receive a full refund or a free transfer to a future workshop of equal value.

4. Materials Kits

Unopened kits returned within 14 days of purchase may be refunded. Opened kits cannot be returned for hygiene and material reasons unless faulty.

5. Gift Vouchers

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from issue. Unused expired vouchers are not refundable. Lost vouchers may be replaced at our discretion if we can verify purchase.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] with your name, booking date and payment reference. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 days.
